Salesforce Tower Chicago, a planned 1.2 million square foot office tower, represents the crown jewel of the Wolf Point development, a four-acre site situated at the intersection of the three main branches of the Chicago River. This visionary development incorporates the civic vision of the Kennedys, Hines’ expertise in developing the office of the future, the architectural creativity of Pelli Clarke Pelli, and the business culture and ambitions of Salesforce.
We knew that Salesforce Tower Chicago would be epic in many ways, but in joining the Chicago skyline, it would be crucial to show that this tower is different from the other Chicago commercial addresses, not just the next premier location. With large floor plans, the building will offer efficient planning for a variety of office users. Amenities will include a club-quality fitness center, a conference center, a tenant lounge and approximately 25,000 square feet of retail space, including a variety of food and beverage concepts. We got to work on creating teaser assets to help sell this ambitious vision.
Through an emotive visual journey, we developed a website and brand film that helped move the broker conversation away from the rational (and perhaps skeptical) and to embrace the excellence of this building and its premiere location. The development is slated to deliver in 2022 and it’s already off to a very promising start.
