Stribling, the oldest independent real estate brokerage firm in New York City, was highly respected and trusted in the luxury market – a testament to their beloved founder, Elizabeth (Libba) Stribling. They were known for service excellence and market intelligence but they were struggling to overcome perceptions of being UES old-money and detached from the emerging downtown tech-centric affluent buyer.
To connect with the younger buyers & sellers, we created a brand idea “People Who Know” to dimensionalize their proven market expertise with a more personalized approach and style. This informed an expressive new brand identity that was inspired by Libba herself. By taking cues from her personal signature, we automatically created a more modern-day Stribling look and feel while keeping the successful brand equity components.
With Elizabeth Stribling’s stamp on the brand, it was now time to engage with the Stribling brokers and reveal their personalities too. We created a brand campaign “The Right Broker Makes All the Difference” to assert not only their market knowledge, but to share a little more about who they were behind closed doors. Our campaign featured individual broker portraits taken in their own homes to show their likes and style in a human way.
