Ian Lewis Campbell


Senior Strategist

Ian doesn’t take the easy way out. He’s not one for shortcuts, and he’s all about getting work done the right way. He commutes to work by bike, wears almost exclusively black clothing, and is always delving into deep ideas (at or outside of work).

He joined CO OP by diving into the deep end, working on intricate projects requiring not only brand chops, but the ability to digest complex topics and align creative ideas to fit them. A few such projects include: Artex Risk Solutions, Landmark Partners, and Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Ian modernizes and simplifies the complex and arcane. He’s always up for a challenge.

In the past, Ian Lewis Campbell (who really does use all three of his names) has developed communications, digital media, and project management for some interesting and unusual companies. Once upon a time, he lived in Washington, D.C. and helped startup and launch an NGO, recruiting first-year participants in an international teacher exchange program, developing communications to international dignitaries, and creating the brand from scratch (logo, web, PR, fundraising—you name it).

He graduated from the University of Georgia with a combined degree in Religion, History, and Spanish, and went on to earn an M.A. in International Relations from the American Graduate School of International Relations in Paris, France.
